Breakfast is one of those meals that I’d rather now put too much thought or energy into. You have to eat it, but really, I either don’t have the time or energy to make an elaborate meal so I end up eating a bowl of oatmeal. Boring, I know. Here’s where Pillsbury enters with their new Egg Scrambles and Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches.
The Pillsbury Egg Scrambles are a delicious mix of egg, melted cheese, Green Giant vegetables and bacon or sausage all in a convenient pouch. Simply pop the bag in the microwave and cook for a few minutes and you have a hot, fresh tasting breakfast. I used my Egg Scrambles by putting them into a tortilla breakfast wrap. I was really surprised at how good they tasted, I was a little leery of the thought of frozen and then microwaved eggs. I’d buy these again for a quick and hot breakfast.
The Pillsbury Grands! Biscuit Sandwiches come in three different varieties: Bacon and Cheese, Ham and Cheese and Sausage and Cheese. Each sandwich is loaded with eggs and meat and cheese; the ham variety also have onions and peppers. Simply open the package and pop them in the microwave and you have a hot breakfast sandwich, perfect for on the go. My husband really like them, especially the buttermilk biscuits; he thought that tasted like “real” breakfast sandwiches, to which I replied to him: “they are!”.
